Innovation in a valve: #3 – Bosch Product Development Challenge

Dear Friends,
Half holidays, half work! Barbot challenge is attracting the first solvers to submit their solutions.
It’s very interesting to realise that each challenge has its own different behaviour at InoCrowd platform: sometimes there are very few solvers registering at first. But, approaching the deadline, all of a sudden, solvers finally get to register and submit their solutions all at the same time as if they were fighting against the clock; in other cases, solvers gradually join the challenge, submit queries, announce their interest, and there are not so many last-minute surprises.
I’m getting back to past cases now, and remember their interesting outcomes, brilliant solutions in such a short 2 months’ deadline!
Today, I bring you another one of InoCrowd’s success cases, so that you understand my enthusiasm and my pride.
#3 – Bosch Product Development Challenge – innovation in gas valves
This is a very successful story that can be told in very few words:
Bosch was searching for an innovative development to its current portfolio of valves for gas water heaters.
The solution would also have to grant a cut in energy consumption by 70%!
Well, InoCrowd has handed over six solutions within only six weeks.
The solution that was chosen allowed Bosch to launch a highly innovative very competitive product, with huge cost reduction and a very shortened Market Access delay.
See? Not many words, but a total smash!
Huge companies profit a great deal and save market access time when using InoCrowd’s open innovation model: a time and money saver win-win idea come true!
See you next week!
Kind Regards,
Soraya Gadit
